The Renaissance Luzern is a terrifc historic property. We were upgraded to a jr. suite and the room provided more room and an extremely large bathroom with an amazing walk-in shower. We met friends there and they had a 5 year old son that played in the shower for an hour and he cried when we left as he wanted to stay another night. The beds are also incredibly comfortable. My 17 yr old niece said it was the best night of sleep she had had in a long time! We only stayed one night as we were touring other parts of Switzerland, but I would love to return to this lovely hotel. The location was terrific. We walked about one block from the main train station and had easy access to all that Luzern has to offer. Chapel Bridge was one block away and you could also reach all the churches, the funicular to Gutsch and walk to the Lion Monument park from this hotel. Luzern is a small and incredibly charming city.
