We just stayed for one night and were upgraded to lake view. Looking at the hotel from the outside, it's pretty obvious that the main building is quite dated (50s or 60s I'd say). They beefed it up quite a bit in the interior, so one doesn't notice it much (WC and bathroom were still "original", albeit in pristine state of cleanliness). View is fantastic as well as the breakfast. We'd go there again.
