This is not really a restaurant, it is a souvenir shop with two tables that they offer fondue for tourists but it is a huge tourist trap, they do not have a really kitchen, the fondue is fom a box ad we paid 50 € for 2 fondues and one beer. The girl working there she makes her est to make a pleasant stay.

Both my girlfriend and I stopped over Stuebli for lunch after our visit to the Glacier garden, it was a nice swiss rustic home setting, wooden furniture, fire-place (for winter i supposed).
The place is small but the lady was very nice, no service hiccups as we were the only customers inside.
Both of us had rosit with mushroom and Bratwurst, a wonderful swiss experience before we continue shopping for the rest of the day.

After a very unpleasant experience with Restaurant Fritschi the night before, we decided to walk up to Swiss Stuebli to book a table. We were greeted by a rather unfriendly lady who seemed annoyed at the sight of us. We asked if we could please book for the dinner in the evening. She told us a reservation was not necessary. We arrived at 19h30 only to find most tables in the restaurant reserved. We protested to the waiter who apologised and found us a narrow table for four. He went out of his way to help and make up for the problem. We ordered two fondue's, a roesti dish and a pork dish. Our sons found the fondues just enough but had scraped out the cheese dish for the last bits, my roesti was a small portion and the salad I ordered, exhorbitanly priced for what was largely shredded cabbage, my husband's pork steak was ok. We thought we had found a good value for money establishment however the portion size was quite small but we felt the food was ok and that the waiter more than made up for the earlier confusion.

Having read the other reviews here, seems that there are at least 2 different teams running this place - well, sorry to say that ours was not the good one and the service was simply cold and indifferent . To be fair, the fondue was not bad by any means and perhaps even ok in terms of price-quality ratio, but there are so much better options in Luzern, especially in terms of ambience.
Above all, this place is not your usual city restaurant, rather the backside of a souvenir shop (or the other way around, depends on where you enter) and it is VERY small, sadly not the cozy kind of small. The photos on luzern.com website are indeed taken in the same room but one would hardly imagine that the whole "restaurant" is actually visible in the picture...
