This is a great pick if you want to have great tasting Indian food. Their menu has a lot to offer but most of the things I don't know. So we took the King's Menu: first some starters on a plate and afterwards 5 different dishes (lam, chicken, fish, some veggi and some cheese with spinach) accompanied by rice and nam. Just great. I guess you can order it with different levels of spiciness.
Hint: you can book this online as well and you get a small discount + a glass of prosecco! From looking around, this was the most popular thing to order.
Another popular thing was the mixed tandori plate; which comes from sizzling hot from the kitchen!
After we were done with the main course, we had about half of it left. The nice waiter asked us if we want to take the rest home. Something not so ordinary in Switzerland. We had enough for Indian lunch the day after. And one other great service: they also offer you tab-water... not common in Switzerland (even though the water is great here).
The waiters are also very kind in general. The manager comes to your table and ask how everything is. Like it should be!
Then the negatives:
the places is a bit outdated. It looks very 70s. They tried to make it look a bit Indian, but haven't succeeded yet. I understand it will be an expensive undertaking, but the place really could do with an upgrade. All chairs and tables have to go for example!
And the location: yes it is a bit towards the rough area's in Luzern; but with a bus from the main station you are there in 5 minutes and it stop in front of the door.
I will certainly return; the food is just great!
