We went there because my boyfriend's colleague told him that the best dim sum were the best of Geneva.

We arrived at 9pm and the restaurant was crowded (you have only 6 tables). The place is really tiny, but once seated it is ok. The setting is really nice with many teapots and a charming atmosphere. The waitress was not talkative but very friendly in her way. The food was excellent (I took the vegetarian dim sum and the spinach dim sum, and we also tried the steam bread which is surprisingly good). The service was not too long and we ate within an hour.
We tried a dessert and it was not the good one... The dessert 30.a (with rice, green tea, peanuts, sugar and sesames) is... surprising... It did not really seduce our taste buds. But I will definitely try another dessert next time.

The bill was around 55CHF for 3 pieces of steam bread, 10 dim sum by person, 2 beers and a dessert. Very reasonable!

Two tips:
- Make a reservation 1 or 2 days in advance
- Take some cash as credit/debit cards are not accepted

This restaurant is having the best dimsums I have ever had in Geneva. The price is reasonable, the place is small, but with a good ambiance to make you comfortable. Tea was excellent. The place is really hidden and at first I thought they are just selling teas. Go a bit earlier than 8pm, it's full and the service is a bit slow. Definitely would recommend.

Le Thé is a teeny-tiny restaurant specialized in dim sum those bite-sized portions of chinese food traditionally served in small steamer baskets or on small plates. The food is delicious and fresh. There is a wide choice of tea (also available on take-away).
Too bad that the service is so cold.
You have to reserve to get a chance to have a seat.

Living in Geneva I went to this restaurant several times, the food is great and the quality/price is very good, all the steam raviolis and all desserts are super great, I really love it.
Now, related to the service, I have to say the lady "scares" me she is really not nice, but it's part of the experience apparently.
I always wondered this place is a tea shop, they have a great deal of different teas on the menu, once I have asked for more details because just the name of the tea is not really helpful, she did not say anything and did not recommend anything, what is the point?
It can be quite long depending on when you arrive or if you arrive after a big group of people.
So, if you go there go for the food and do not pay attention to the rest.

Le The is a little hidden gem in Geneva - it is so rare to find true Asian food in town but this is the place.
It is very small and cosy with nice decoration. However, the best about Le The is the food - fresh and made "a la minute" dim sums, pork buns...everything is good on the small menu. Loved the iced Jasmine tea, too. Service is friendly and you always feel welcomed there. Prices are very reasonable.

Careful: make sure to book in advance as it is very small. Food preparation takes time as there is 1-2 staff but it is definitely worth it. Take away available.
