“Good pizza but that's about it...”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 5, 2012

Went to the Expresso Club for dinner with my partner and a friend.

The good:
- Pizza was well above average

The bad:
- Service was terrible. I am sure part of this might have been the understaffing but it didn't excuse the rude attitude of the waiter: pressured to order drinks before we had even removed our coats, bill thrown on the table, telling other customers to stop talking so loud when they were not at all being noisy, etc.
- Small dining room and not very comfortable seating which is all not very conductive to a relaxed dinner.
- Restaurant does not accept credit cards and has some other strange policies even by Swiss standards including an extra charge if you don't order a drink with your meal. It is also slightly expensive but that is to be expected for Geneva.

I could consider going back for the pizza but definitely not for a relaxing evening.

“Best homemade pizza in town”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 7, 2012

Craving for Italian food and wines? This is the place to go to and it's just a quick walk from the Geneva Lakeside hotels. Don't expect to find a white tablecloth gourmet restaurant. This place is just stormed with people at lunch time and service is fast, very fast. But it's also a good place to socialize, meet people and observe some of the Geneva life; the setup is a U shaped high stool bar-like restaurant and everyone talks to everyone adding fun to a quick bite.

The homemade Pizze (I was corrected by the owner with a good sense of humour when I said "Pizzas" with an s) are the best you could find in Geneva and their choice of Pasta was most imaginative. I had a laugh just reading the menu.

They have a second restaurant called Camilo's Place serving the same type of food.

“3rd best pizza in Geneva”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 21, 2012

Used to be the best pizza, then the owner opened Camilo's Place, which is slightly better pizza and has a lovely terrace, then Luigia's opened which is the new champion. However, bronze medal is no shame at all and the pizza really is excellent. The welcome is always warm, the beer is cold and the Angelo pizza top notch. Go there when you're on that side of the lake.

“Loved this place!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 5, 2012

Crepes, pizzas, sushi, tikka misala, coffee, beer - anything you could want! A great spot for grabbing a snack, meal, or drink and people-watching in the piazza. Really enjoyed this restaurant and the food selection. We had sandwiches and wine - yummy!
