leave the streets of Geneva and you walk into a village like atmosphere that reminds you of an Ethiopian/Eritrean village. The family run restaurant serves excellent Ethiopian Ingera served with lentils and vegetables with different choices of meats. a nice place for relaxation and enjoying great food.

Totally unexpected decor and ambiance inside the restaurant. The food is good, consistent and always served with great attitude and conviviality. The pizza was better in the past but I'm sure it will pick up again.

This restaurant is offering great african ambiance and dishes.
The taste of dishes doesn't change in years, same as good and positive energy of people which welcome you and serve you in restaurant.

We have been going to La Gazelle d'Or for over 20 years now and the place is always as good. Tasty food, good service, nice atmosphere, welcoming owner. We recommend it!

You don’t expect it. From the outside it looks just like any other regular restaurant in the area.
When you walk in passed the giant aquariums, you find yourself on an evening stroll in an African village.
Under each “hut” are low raffia woven tables surrounded by chairs and benches.
Those raffia tables soon turn into the center of activity, when set with giant trays with giant injeras, the Ethiopian pancakes made of fermented teff flour, on which the wild and wonderful dishes, dance their unique flavor dance. The food has complex spicing but is not at all hot or overwhelming, very different to other types of spiced food I have eaten, the portions are generous and the service is friendly and welcoming.
We loved everything about this place. The décor, the interesting amazing food, the atmosphere, the music and the prices. It felt like you walked in to a place in Geneva and softly been transformed to another place.
