“Treat yourself”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 19, 2011

Have been here a couple of times for Sunday brunch. Like anything else in Geneva, not cheap (CHF 70 per head, with extras such as coffees and indulging in a glass of champagne taking it to well over CHF 100 per person), but it is a fabulous affair, with a tremendous choice for every palate - a huge seafood selection, including oysters when in season; a separate room with hot foods (forget bacon and sausages and think more chicken with morilles, eggs benedict on brioche, stir-fried prawns) and an impressive array of cheeses and desserts. It's all pretty sumptuous. The only downside is the room, which, although beautifully decorated, is pretty dark.

“Five star setting with good food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 5, 2011

My husband and I attended a business dinner here. Our private room overlooked the garden. That is probably nice during the summer. It is a contemporary setting with attentive service.

Our set menu included lobster as a starter, veal topped with Parmesan, and a walnut muffin like dessert with ice cream on the side. It was all delicious. It was a more than adequate business dinner. And the location is convenient for the international organizations.

“One of my favorite business restaurants.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 10, 2011

The restaurant is in the Intercontinental Hotel and they go to that quality of service. Great food, great ambiance, great service. If you need a private place to meet some business contacts, this is the place: unpretentious but high level, they even have small reserved spaces if you want more privacy. Lunch time is cheaper.

“Great restaurant, zen atmosphere, still undiscovered by the Geneva crowd”

Woods offers great food, in a distinguished and quiet atmosphere. The menu, wine selection and service are all very good. A real gem. Catch it before it gets on the Geneva restaurant circuit.

“Nice and quiet”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 8, 2010

Has dinner here as my colleague was staying at the hotel.

We had dinner from 7 to 9:30pm, and there were only 3 other parties in the restaurant the entire time we were there.

But that was not indicative of the quality of the food and service, which was excellent! Good wine selection too.

As with most good restaurants, the price was crazy.

There is a nice outdoor area for those nice summer evenings.
