In Geneva, everything (just about) is closed on Sunday===except, right between Starbucks and MacDonalds (and near the entrance to the station) is Cafe de Paris.
Basically Cafe de Paris doesn't serve anything but Entrecôte (sirloin steak), and if you don't eat it sanyon (rare) then I have no idea what you might get. BUT, if you do eat it sanyon, and you have a carafe of Geneva Gamay, and you enjoy starting with a green salad that is lightly "vinigaretted", then it is pretty good value for money===at least, on Sunday when almost everybody else is closed.
I have to say, the locals also know it is the only place open: and like me, most of them are well over sixty (unless they have children and grandchildren with them).
