Why expensive: one of the most expensive locations in Geneva: not far from the banks and law firms, right in the town centre, where rental is most expensive. Staff is numerous, usually 4 persons for the terrace and the 2 stories restaurant. At least 4 in the kitchen as well. My suggestion would be to avoid two average Thai restaurants and consider this as a treat... Or cook it at home.
Food is really good, inventive, all home made. They have basic dishes but also have a part of the menu adapted to summer/winter.
I recommend the spicy papaya salad (som tam).
Service is pro, efficient, not overly invasive and warm.
We paid 120 swiss francs total (2 persons), we shared a som tam salad and got the "discovery dish" (2 persons minimum) which consists of 2 summer rolls, 2 spring rolls, 2 satay chicken kebabs and 2 shrimps steamed ravioli per person. All really good.
Drinks: try their "thai iced tea", a gem.
