I ate here two nights in a row. You can't find a cheaper meal, and it will fill you up guaranteed. I was a swimmer in high school and can eat just about until my jaw is tired. Eating at Chez Ma Cousine was my favorite meal in my time in Europe and for a mere 15 Euro.

Even if the menu is really restricted the food is really good. The chicken is not dry at all! I recommend this place if you want to have a quick lunch with friends

This restaurant is an beautiful location in the old town, and there's outside seating so you can soak in the atmosphere. The food itself was pretty tasty, if a little over salted. You get a half a chicken with potatoes and salad, which is probably enough for two people, especially at lunch. They charge extra for gravy, and I don't think it was worth it as the gravy was very salty. The service was friendly and very fast. So if you're looking for a quick sit-down meal at a decent price in a beautiful location, this place fits the ticket.

I love this place. Always dependable service and offering. Well known for their rotisserie chicken that is so good.

BUT

I found out that their Saconex location which is behind the Intercontinental Hotel Geneva offers the most delicious Green Chicken Curry. Which is crazy for a typical Swiss establishment. They said there is too many expats near that location (UN) and that's why they offer this dish.

It's the most amazing green curry you will have because they use a large chicken breast sliced into small slices and smothered with the green curry sauce accompanied by steam rice.

Trust me you can't go wrong at this place.

Extra family friendly and a nice place to have large gathering for the simple reason the menus has two or three items which makes cost control an easy thing 😉

Ok, it’s not that kind of restaurant that I would suggest for special occasion or formal dinners, but it’s lovely and the food quality and preparation was actually beyond my personal expectations.

We ordered roasted chicken breasts (of course), 2 salads, desserts and wine from Sicily. All for less than 40CHF per person.

Personnel is very gentle and quick.

We’ll be back for sure, especially after hard working days.
