We ate here a few years ago and one of the primary reasons for visiting Geneva this time was to eat here again. Great food, great service, great restaurant. So good we ate here both nights.

I agree with a lot of previous remarks that it's not extraordinary on the food. Service is top, stuff are very polite and attentive , this is good, nothing to say. However , referring to the main thing-FOOD, i was not that much impressed. Of course, all was very nice, and pleasant, but definitely not the exceptional. Price was correct, considering its location and hotel standard. However, as was mentioned already, u can eat better in gva libaneese food even might be better quality and for better money.

The restaurant is beautiful, the decoration is wonderful and the ambiance is not bad. However food is overpriced, a small quantity of food in the main course. At least they could put some fresh salad or cold mezze in the main course. Otherwise, food is normal not bad nor very tasty. You can eat a better lebanese food and cheaper in geneva.

What did I expect? That any restaurant in this gorgeous hotel (the lobby!) would whip up flawless dish after dish?
The glamourous President Wilson hotel is on the Lake at the fringe of the edgy Paquis area. There are tons of interesting ethnic restaurants to try within walking distance, but once in a while we all crave a fancier meal with all the trimmings.
The Arabesque has the right ambience - small and cozy, with warm colors and plush banquets.
The service is up to the standard of a luxurious hotel, but the food, not so much.

Anyone who loves Mediterranean food knows that a good dish is not as simple as it may look. There is a delicate balance of spices and freshness that is essential. When prepared well, mouthwatering morsels of heaven meet your tongue.
First, the Mezze selection of small dishes is pricey at 85CHF. And, though some of it was great, overall it was not really worth it. The typical stuffed meat and vegetable pastries were good. The eggplant dishes, hummus, yoghurt, falafel, etc., was fresh and very tasty.

For a little variety, I ordered a fish dish as well. The roguet, which is one of my favorites, came to the table smelling fishy and was dry and tasteless. This was not the only disappointment. The desert with the Mezze menu was awful. The pastry was tough and the pistachios seemed stale. We had to drown everything in the rosewater syrup just to eat it. It was really not the pleasure it should have been.

The Lebasese wine we tried was quite good but all in all, the meal was overpriced and I'm sure better can be found elsewhere.

We went to the L'Arabesque to celebrate a special occasion and we were not disappointed.
The menu is quite long, so you should have a look at it before going if you are not too familiar with the Lebanese cusine. We weren't and decided to have the CHF85 tasting menu, which is excellent both in terms of variety of dishes that are presented to you and in terms of quantity, not like in other restaurants where you end up either eating too much or too little when have tasting menus.
Whatever you chose, I would like to recommend to save some space for the sweets: they are so balanced and delicious!
The service was attentive but discreet. The only thing you have to consider is that the place is quite small, so more than for any other place in Geneva, you have to book a table in advance.
For two menus, a bottle of water, a Lebanese wine, a tea and a coffee we spent CHF 298.
