“A child's delight - for life”
Reviewed October 8, 2013

We have brought my daughter here since she was two or three years old. She is now 18, and she cannot visit Geneva without coming back, on pilgrimage as it were. The Museum boasts what makes the success of such places around the world: an impressive collection of stuffed fauna (complete with some prehistoric mammals), amazing semi-precious stones, a solar system in miniature, interactive exhibitions, and a general air of mystery which is so appealing to kids - and adults alike.

“Great place to go with kids”
Reviewed August 7, 2013

Free museum.

Large by Swiss standards and interesting with a certain number of temporary exhibitions.

One of the best wet weather options in Geneva for families. Closed Mondays.

“Informative and Colorful”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

This museum is definitely somewhere that is worth visiting more than once. First of all, it's free to enter. Also, the staff is polite and there are four floors with different themes. The only drawback is that many exhibits are very dark and hard to see. In addition, the museum is very good for small children because of many features that they would enjoy. The exhibits have toys here and there to keep kids entertained and some exhibits are interactive. (In the reptile "tank" they put a doll to the side of a large turtle) All in all, I'd have to say the best floor is the one with all the birds and mammals. They have tigers, giraffes, and even bald eagles.

“quite complete!”
Reviewed July 18, 2013

Big museum and free of charge entrance (Always good)!
4 floors dedicated to History of the living and a part about Earth creation and planets.
nicely senarios décors of animals in their habitat.. a bit old looking sometimes.
Maybe needs an refurbishment (feels like the movie "night in the Museum).
Good for families for a 2 to 3 hours tour .. dont spend your day there tough.
