Easiest location if you are arriving or departing by train. After a stay at the Best Western Strasbourg 2 years ago, I slightly prefer this place.
But is it really a hotel ?
We felt that we were entering a commercial building, catching an elevator to level 2 , where there was a reception desk, the breakfast room behind it and a large number of doors leading off the 4 sides of this space.
Is it a hotel ?
I asked for ice to go with a late night drink ( after 8 hours on a train), and I was told that they have no ice !
Room 211 was quite a good sized room, that was mostly taken up by a ridiculously oversized wardrobe. So oversized that there was nowhere ( but the bed ) to put your suitcases !
This room was quite, apart from a little street noise from Rue Pradier.
The bed was very comfortable !
The included continental breakfast was quite good with a choice of fresh fruits, yoghurts and Nespresso coffee.
Wi-fi worked well.
This place was fine for a quick overnight stay.
