Very good location, not even a block from the lake and high end shopping. The service could not be faulted. The rooms were large by European standards, though a little dated, but fine nonetheless. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Geneva.

Dear guest,

Many thanks for posting this review.
The Bristol is a family-run hotel establishment that steers clear of short-lived fashions yet always in tune the times. We just renovated our rooms to retain their authentic and elegant feel and regret that you did not fully appreciated them...
But we sincerely hope to count you among our returned guests!

Kind regards

My recent stay at the Hotel Bristol could not have been better. A garden facing room provided a peaceful view and the amenities in the room were excellent. There were two breakfast options a light breakfast for just CH10 and the full American buffet for CH38 . Champagne, music from a harpist and a full selection of Swiss delights was all I needed to keep me going for most of the day. The hotel is just a short walk from the station and as the lake is no more than a hundred metres away it is in a prime location with a bus stop outside and the local ferries a few minutes by foot . The staff were extremely friendly and even rang to give me advice on where to go on a Sunday. Ideal for a romantic weekend break prices are in line with others in Geneva. The newly refurbished rooms are well appointed and the beds extremely comfortable. The spa in the basement has a sauna ,hot tub and gym just for residents. A wonderful weekend and top marks to all involved.Do remember to pick up your free travel pass at the desk.

Room Tip: Opt if you can for a room facing the garden square.

No real complaints, as the title says, everyone was great, friendly and helpful at the hotel. The rooms are massive when compared to european standards. Very clean, close to the old town area and a lot of the business we had to do. Only observation is that the rooms are a little dated. Geneva hotels are also really expensive, but I think that is all over town.

Dear Sir,

We would like to thank you for taking the time to post a review.
Quite surprised though as we just renovated our rooms, but indeed the Bristol owns an historic and authentic feel while providing the comfort and quality of service for which it is renowned.

Kind regards from Geneva

I had an up graded room on the 6 floor which was lovely . The bathroom with the European warm towel holders are wonderful. As eel as the king bed and coffee maker. Very nice to be an old hotel with moderne conviences.

We stayed at the Hotel Bristol for just one night and found it quite charming. It is located perfectly - quite close to the train station, less than a block from the lake, and just across a short walkway to the old part of the city. The staff were charming - very attentive and kind. Our room was quite nice - much larger than I expected. We had both drinks and snacks in the bar and breakfast (as all we wanted at breakfast was coffee, a croissant and juice.) All in all I would definitely return. Not as pricey as the properties located right along the lake but just as convenient and charming.
