Only stayed for one night in hotel Kipling when we stopped over at Geneva after traveling from Milan to Geneva by train. Hotel Kipling is amongst the MANY hotels available nearby the main train station - Gare Geneva; and of the Manotel group of hotels it's the only 3-star rates one (hence more affordable one!)

It's location is walkable from the train station within less than 10mins. It's classy from the moment you enter and though there's only 1 receptionist who doubles/triples as other service providers, he/she were very kind and helpful!

The room - it was small but big enough for 2 people just for a short stay. It's so classy and pretty in terms of the interior design and decor. The toilet is small but managed to fixed with a bathtub - all classy-looking.

Did not try the breakfast as the hotel stay offer did not come with breakfast, but heard it's not bad.

Overall, small, medium rated hotel on the outside, but truly impressed with great service and class and effort put into interior design and choice of furniture in the rooms and main lobby.

Would definitely return here!

Once you get over the bill shock that is what Geneva is famous for then the Kipling is worthwhile.

The oom and amenities are good. There is plenty of nightlife going on, some of it unsavoury in the red light district but don't be concerned. The train station is close and the centre of town and the railway station were very close.

My room and shower was very small.the whole room was set out nicely, just small.

Overall a 4/5 because it is better that a 3/5.

We would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Geneva. The hotel is 1 tram stop away from the main train station. It borders the red light district but it did not give us any problem as long as we avoid these streets. Clean. Good decoration. Spacious. They take care of minor details and made our stay very comfortable. We also received a free transportation pass which allowed us to take all public transport in Geneva. Try the French restaurant at their sister hotel, Hotel Royal. The food is absolutely delicious and you get 15% discount for hotel guests.
Well done and keep up the good work!

Really helpful and pleasant staff, hotel was very nice, close to the station and tram network and a 5 minute walk from the Lake. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was a really good size, with a bath as well as a shower. Not in the best of areas but as it was so conveniently situated it was easy to overlook this. 15% discount on food at 3 other hotels in the city, which is a bonus due to the high cost of food and drink in Geneva.

It's not in the nicest part of town, but it is tasteful, quiet, well-run, and a good deal for Geneva. It's an even better deal if you need to be near the train station, just a 10 minute walk away. I think you'll do we'll to book here.

This is a very nice modern hotel at a reasonable price for expensive Geneva. Reception was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were well appointed, very clean and quite spacious. We came by car and the hotel is not that easy to get to as it is in a network of one way streets but we persevered and were pleased to find a car park under the hotel (but 35 euro / night). There are good restaurants close by and the centre of the city is a pleasant walk away via the lake.

We stayed two nights here. There is Wifi in the rooms and computers to use near the lobby. The room was beautifully decorated in yellows and red. The shower head was not quite tight so it was hard to use.
