I stayed for two weeks in the appartment/studio annexe to the hotel. The quite spacious studio was well equipped, however, the kitchen is rather basic. The place is ideal for work. Shops are not close by, but as all hotels in Geneva provide a free public transport card, one can cope with this situation. On the other hand the beautiful seaside park is just across the - busy - road. I had a room to the backside, which had the advantage of being quiet. The road-side rooms have probably a lake view.....

This would have been a fine place, but the lack of air conditioning - surprising for recently renovated place - meant one had to sleep with the windows open and fan going. This is OK if you're not bothered by parties, traffic, World Cup celebrations, and can otherwise endure very hot and muggy nights. Breakfast, however, was fabulous. The bar was a good spot. It was walking distance to gardens, convention centre, lake, train station, without being in the middle of shops. Room size was very good for Geneva.

Stayed in May during warm weather. No AC in the rooms just a noisy fan. Mediocre service but nothing to differentiate from the rest. Try the Warwick Hotel, it's much better.

The hotel is comfortable, but I found it quite expensive for what it is. It is also not very charming, the rooms are very clean and high-tech, but the furniture very simply. It looks a bit like a high end youth hostel inside the rooms. Staff was very friendly. Hotel is close to the United Nations, but not downtown. It's a modern hotel, nothing of any old charm.

I stayed in the apartment section of the hotel for two weeks early January 2010 (1 bedroom, 1 living room, 1 semi-equipped kitchen, 1 bathroom and a small entrance).

The apartment has seen better days. Old furniture, old dirty carpets. Very small & narrow beds. Kitchen lacking many of the amenities an equipped kitchen in a furnished apartment should have (e.g. no microwave, broken glasses, no household products).

A lot of little details that were neglected (dead batteries in the remote, light bulbs to be changed out, etc.) and gave a feeling that hotel management did not care.

Talking about hotel management, in numerous instances I found a car belonging to hotel staff either blocking or inside the parking box I was paying for. Front desk staff was unreliable, slow to answer or not at the desk when you needed them.

Nice point is the location. Whether you drive or walk, I found it rather convenient.

In conclusion, certainly not a place I would recommend or return to.

The hotel has been recently renovated and the staff are very kind and helpful. If you need to do business at one of the UN buildings, this location is perfect. The breakfast buffet is very good for the price (18 CHF). My main complaint: The hotel decorator never lived here in winter. The rooms were all redecorated in a stylish and minimalist grey, black, and white, which is fine in the summer, but after a day of trudging in Geneva's bitter cold and gray weather, uit was depressing to return to a room that looked like the street outside. Brrr!! As an energy-saving measure, the bathroom lights operate on sensors, which means that if you go to the bathroom at night, you can't avoid waking up your partner. My spouse was ready to check out after the first night.

geneva has a great transportation system so you can travel just about everywhere on tram/bus. Every hotel gives you a free transportation pass.

This hotel is not downtown but close to the international institutions (rue de lausanne) and fairly easy to reach (by bus) from the airport. Tyhe train station is ca. 20 minutes away on foot.
Rooms are small, but fairly comfortable and clean, although a bit basic. Also bathrooms are pretty small. The hall of the hotel is nicer than the rooms themselves.
Breakfast is OK, nothing special. And it is not included in the price of the room but costs some 18 CHF more.
Restaurant (only had dinner once) is a bit overpriced, in my view, and not particularly good. I would not go again to teh restaurant.
So, it is an OK hotel when compared to others in Geneva in the same price category but clearly not the right one if you are going for charming or luxury hotels.
