Description: L'Auberge de Saviese is a Cafe Restaurant full of charm and authenticity, located in the heart of the Paquis area. There, for more than fifty years, the restaurant has been perpetuating Swiss culinary traditions. You'll be able to discover regional specialties such as raclette, Cheese Fondue "Maison" or the special "Half & Half" Cheese Fondue. we also offer "Fondue Bourguignonne", "Fondue Chinoise" and "Fondue Bressane" as well as a large selection of pub meals. During the winter, in the warm and rustic ambiance of our Carnotzet, or in summer on the cool terraces, come and enjoy a happy and cordial atmosphere. The new staff will be delighted to welcome and advise you.

If you look for good typical swiss dishes, this is the place! … With my sister and a friend, we had raclette (very tasty and unctuous), goat cheese salad (with honey!) Very good too! Meat fondue witch was delicious, we share a little bit of everything, and we agreed that it was absolutely a place to remember … Above all, prices are very reasonable for Geneva, and staff is friendly (french, english, and spanish spoken!) and highly attentive. For sure, I will not forget this place!

Auberge De Savise was unexpectedly good. This is a basic Swiss restaurant which seems oriented to visitors. The wait staff was very friendly and highly attentive. The interior is humble and functional. We enjoyed meat fondue, which was tasty and very well presented - along with several nice glasses of wine. All of this was a welcome respite from the more formal and expensive fare typical in Geneva. Good food, very good service, well located, and reasonable prices. We'd go back.

I read people complaining about this restaurant's price. Well, you were at Geneve, fellows. We all know an unquestionable point: this is an EXPENSIVE city. So, this friendly restaurant would not be the exception. We arrived at Geneve at the begining of the night and the guy at our's hotel concierge suggested us the Auberge as it was a 5 minutes walk from our hotel at that cold winter night.
We took a table at the back of the restaurant, with wood walls. a typical mountain architecture. The waiter, a friendly portuguese gentleman , helped us so much with about what to order. We had some wines and a pleasant dinner. Nice place.

Tried the champagne fondue. Nothing but melted cheese in a cast iron pan with a flame . I expected it to be served with something other than bread but it was not. The wine was good. While I know that Geneva is expensive, I don't know why this place is so highly rated. Would pass and go to other restaurants if given the choice.

What a nice experience. The fondu choices gave us a chance to experience this Swiss specialty w/o breaking the bank. I've found most lower-cost Geneva restaurants somewhat uninspired, and the others a bit over my expense account! This restaurant delivers a very tasty selection of fondues and other items in a very clean and "authentic" chalet setting. It is not fancy, but it is definitely pleasant, warm, and a friendly place to dine with friends or family. If you really need a business group setting, this is probably too noisy, and if you are on a date and trying to impress, it might be a bit of a challenge. Still, it's a really good deal, good food, good location, and worth giving a try. If you haven't seen the lake yet, it's only 2 block or so behind the restaurant and well worth the walk. This is a restaurant I'll seek out on every visit to Geneva if possible!
