We went to this restaurant in June but i felt I have to share our unpleasant experience and warn anyone who might be considering going there.
We arrived on a mild summer evening and tables were set outside on the terrace. We received a very offhand reception and were seated on a table where we were then left for considerable time. Finally we were given menus and the drinks order was taken and again there was an extremely long wait until they actually arrived. Things went from bad to worse when one particular waiter was apparently allocated to our table who continued to serve us and take the food orders.
When I queried about a particular dish-a fish- his answer was just "c'est une poisson", and he tried to imitate a fish. All throughout the meal he treated us like imbeciles, he was like a bad version of the type of rude French waiter that used to be caricatured in the past on TV or in film.
He asked about the wine choice and my husband, who was still on his aperitif, told him he would be later ordering by the glass. He was not satisfied with the answer and asked repeatedly in a quite agitated manner "red or white, red or white- I have to prepare myself"....
The restaurant is quite a way outside Geneva in a very quiet neighbourhood and the only reason why we endured this unacceptable behaviour and even humiliation was the fact that we arrived by cab and had unfortunately to rely on the restaurant to call us a taxi.
Can't remember any details of the food, but the food experienced just paled compared to the atrocious service we received.
So please, if ever you consider going there-please don't!!
