Booked through The Fork which gave us a 30% saving which is most welcomed as the prices are very steep compared to UK curry houses.
The food overall was very tasty and the king prawn balti and chicken madras were well spiced. The naan bread was disappointing and more like a paratha in being very thin and very crispy. The side dishes of sag and brindhi aubergines were ok but swamped in ghee.
Service was slow although the restaurant was fairly quiet.
Portion sizes are adequate but not likely to leave you feeling stuffed after the meal.
No complaints about the taste of the food but the sluggish service and rather poor value for money have dragged the overall score.
If you find yourself in Geneva and craving for a curry then The Indus will meet your needs but at a price

A friend of mine recommended me this restaurant and I am delighted to have tried this. Living in Geneva for over a year now although there are many Indian restaurants which I have tried I must say that Indus is surely one of the authentic both in terms of flavors and choices. The restaurant is Owned and managed by a Pakistani gentleman. I see this to be an exact testimonial how food binds all of us and especially the two countries. This is an Indian restaurant but you have a lot of flavors from Pakistan which are similar to Indian cuisine.
The host Qaiser is a lovely gentleman and good host. He is present everywhere behind the bar, taking orders and serving customers while doing his task of managing the restaurant. Surely this does not justify the short Service staff as another individual certainly helps to make the service more organized and focused. I did see another gentleman however it was surprising to see a staff finish his shift around 9:30 especially when the restaurant was quite busy.
The selection of beverages were quite limited although this did not disappoint us as the food menu is exactly what I needed.
The menu selection is well planned and the spices are perfectly blended to the local taste although most importantly they could be adjusted to my Indian taste.
Qaiser was also very good at making recommendations and told us the perfect dishes not only to fit our stomach but also taste.

The tandoori chicken & prawns for the appetizer were delicious and succulent which the lamb shank for the main course was absolutely flavorful. Not only is the food delicious but they also strive for authentic presentation. I shall surely suggest visiting the restaurant for a good Indian meal.

It will be great to enhance the service focus and also a more varied bar selection to make a overall improved offering.

Only a 5 minute walk (at most) from the Theatre Léman, we reserved on The Fork and went here for an early dinner before a concert. Our table was ready and waiting for us when we arrived. The food was delicious, and while we did get the benefit of the 30% discount for having reserved, we did not think portion size was too small. My only criticism is that it took a little long for our order to be taken and served, even though we let them know we needed to leave for a concert. Still, very pleased to have enjoyed their food.
