“Quality has gone down”
Reviewed February 7, 2013

I used to love this place, now not so much. The coffee is close to undrinkable, whatever you ask for. The selection of pastries is cut to half by early afternoon on a weekend. Staff is often very distracted, slow and ineffective. You are lucky if you get something after you have asked for it only once. And prices are not low. If I go occasionally is because there are very few alternatives, especially on a Sunday.

“Good for easy going brunch”
Reviewed January 12, 2013

Went for a Sunday brunch, nice bread, nice croissants, nice simple brunch options. Not expensive, did not like coffee though. A very good choice for breakfast or easy going brunch with friends. Place is very small, few tables, don't be surprised if you don't find one.

“Cafe for those who were back-packers 40 years ago!”
Reviewed December 3, 2012

No, not old-fashioned! But lovely fresh bread and muesli, croissants with lots of jams/ honey/ cholcolate spread - served at wooden kitchen tables by friendlt staff. This is the place for breakfast!

“Great bread and good brunches”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

The tradition of French bakery, always fresh and with very good quality ingredients. You can choose from a heap of breakfasts (continental, English etc) and brunches (classic, countryside etc) and everything is very good and quite cheap (for Geneva).

“Ah, Le Pain that doesn't hurt!”
Reviewed June 26, 2012

I was thrilled to stumble upon this near the Tiffany Hotel. This chain is a favorite of mine -- I found it in Brussels a while back and then discovered it in New York. They serve a perfect lunch combo of quiche and salad and make a decent capuccino. Bon appetit!
