A relaxing cruise to enjoy the fantastic view around the Thunersee. But need careful planning and ensure visit only at good weather. Otherwise nothing can be seen and a waste of time.

This is a very beautiful town and lake. From hiking, boating, jogging paths to nice restaurants and shops. On a beautiful day you can spend hours walking or what ever you like here.
My Wife & I had an excellent and relaxing cruise on lake Thun. The boats here are very classy and quite amazing with full kitchens and a wide variety of foods to enjoy as you cruise from town to town taking in the beautiful scenery. I would say unless you feel very rich don’t spend the extra $30 pp to get the first class seats, sure the nicer and more open seating area is nice but not at that extravagant cost and it seemed most agreed as the first class floor was near empty by comparison.
Old streets with shops at different levels ,quaint restaurants ,rivers and majestic castles .Its worth a 3 hour stopover
We opted to take the train from Interlaken to Thun. We spent an hour or so walking around the beautiful town then got on the boat originally going back to Interlaken but decided at Spiez to have a look around so we had our lunch and a look about and got the next boat back to Interlaken. What a lovely day. Surrounded by mountain blue lake and sunshine what more could you ask for. The train and boat was all booked by the very helpful lady in the boat kiosk in Interlaken OST. The whole journey cost CH29.
This is a beautiful blue, sparkling lake with various boat rides to choose from. A train ride along the shore also offers impressive views.
