Thanks to TA for this small but excellent restraurant. The food here was simply devine. The menu changes every 8 weeks and when we ate there it was the first day for a new menu. Wow was it good. The chef clearly was engaged and proud of his dishes. It was lovingly prepared and presented. For my first course, I had raw scallops with a vinaigrette sauce which was tart but flavorful and enhanced the earthy flavor of the scallops. My sons had the special chicken with polental which they both rated as being possibly some of the best they have ever had. Given the number of restraurants they have visited, that is no small compliment. The service was responsive and went well beyond the call of duty. We don't speak any German and the menu was, not surprisingly, a challenge. The waitress took the time and trouble to walk us through each item of the menu. This was not easy for her (and we thanked her for taking such trouble for us).Then she was keen to ensure we had a good meal. The wine list is small but well selected and priced reasonably. Overall we had a surpurb evening. If we had stayed another day I suspect we would have returned. So don't mess around; go and have a great dinner.
