“Take a Look but Overrated”
Reviewed October 28, 2013 via mobile

Design was very cool but upon arrival for seeing the clock do its "thing" at the turn of the hour, I was left wanting more. I guess I'm spoiled after experiencing the clock spectacular in Prague.

Take a look but don't get too excited.

“Imposing Clock Tower”
Reviewed October 27, 2013

The clock tower was actually built around 1220, it was a guard tower, a prison and finally a clock tower. It is one of the oldest clock towers in Switzerland. The astronomical clock shows the hour of the day, day and month, the zodiac and the phases of the moon. Einstein lived in the area. Shame we didn't have time to visit his home.

“A 800-year-old tower”
Reviewed October 21, 2013

It's an historical tower, which was built around 800 years ago. It looks very cool at the beginning of the street. Worth checking out!

“Clock tower”
Reviewed October 9, 2013

Worth a look. But make sure you arrive five minutes before the hour as the action main action happens at 3 minutes to the hour. Not as remarkable as the one in Prague but worth seeing.

“This is so Swiss”

Just a great feature to walk beneath while on a walking tour of Bern. Just one of many signature landmarks of the old city center of Bern.
