Had a FUBAR train trip from Heidelberg to Zurich thanks to the German Rail System. Train from Heidelberg to Karlsruhe was 30 minutes late, therefore missed connection to Zurich. Next train to Zurich was over an hour late, and at last minute was rerouted to Basel. Finally came in 4 hours late to Zurich, but Alptransfer was there - it was easy texting them (they send a confirmation text for pickup 24 hours prior) and keeping them in the loop throughout an otherwise stressful experience. Prompt, professional service. Will absolutely use them every time.

Used Alp Transfers twice while we were watching Laver Cup in Geneva. Once 23:00 at night and once 04:00 in the morning - really terrible times. Both times punctual, friendly and just good, old-fashioned wonderful service. We were a group of 10, so also not so easy to accommodate. Booking hassle free and quick through their Whatsapp service. Highly recommended!!

Montreux is a gorgeous place, but stay away in the summer. We were there at the end of June and it was very hot. The Jazz Festival was on. Lots of vendors and music to enjoy. BUT..... there was no air conditioning anywhere. After trying several places to find relief, we went into an extremely prominent and upscale hotel. Surely, we thought, we could get a drink there in a cool environment. Wrong! We let the desk know of our frustration and discomfort. A kind waiter brought us cold washcloths to soothe us! There wasn't even a fan in the hotel! So....beware if you go in hot weather. It is very beautiful in Montreux. Go when it is cool. There was not much to see in Lausanne, and it is very hilly.
