The hotel is in good place be awre that he had two blocks one of them is newer and thus the room, we were update to a suite after i complined that the room size etc. was not what i orderd and after the update i reliase that more, there are lots of free parking which is very good to have, the location is good to the old city which is not far away, the beds the bathroom and all services are good, breakfest is very good and i also had dinner which is very good and not expensive.

Room Tip: be aware to the room size and outbuilding and ask for it or upgrade if you can to the new one.

This hotel is a solid choice for accommodations in Perugia. It’s a good value. The rooms are average but the breakfast is good. Lots of options. Covered parking. The “free” WiFi was so weak it didn’t work and you had to pay if you needed WiFi (like almost all places in Italy.) I think the whole country uses this racket. It would be hard to beat for the price in Perugia.

For the third and fourth nights of our drive from Spain to Greece in early August, we decided to rest up rather than keep meandering so tried out this hotel on the edge of Perugia’s center. The design and name are due to the original owner’s love of jazz and visually it is everywhere. A business hotel, it was typical of one, quiet and clean, pet friendly, and had its own open, covered garage in the back which was fine for a fairly safe parking space. It had easy access to the center of town, and across the street was an excellent gelato shop…necessary during the Summer!

Rooms in the hotel are of good size and this thematic hotel (jazz, wine and chocolate) has its interesting points. But it is desperately under staffed form reception to the restaurant, and the wait for dinner was interminable. It is used for large groups, and they can easily mistake you for one of the "group members" and send you to a second rate breakfast and mass food restaurant. Worse still, the air condition in all rooms in the hot summer months works at best at 10% capacity. IT has a free parking but you are advised to get a cab to go to historic centre as there is hardly any chance in finding a parking slot.
