Rest assured that your stay will be great, accommodations and all amenities right, the staff more than pleasant, courteous and helpful, as well they were conversant in English. A most enjoyable stay. Umberto and Andre made sure your were pleased with your stay and most personable. All modern conveniences. The location is PERFECT and there is simply no negative to write about for this very nice, comfortable hotel conveniently located to public transportation and to the city of Perusia -- get a top floor with balcony and enjoy a splendid view. This is definitely a come back to hotel.

Room Tip: Top floor, balcony -- the view is incredible

We stayed at Sangallo in late September 2013 and had a terrific stay. Everything was first rate and the hotel staff was very helpful. In particular Umberto and Conlettto gave us outstanding service. Breakfast was great, room was great, location was great. we will return.

The hotel concierge spoke good English and was very helpful in arranging day trips to other cities. The hotel is 100 yards from a bus terminal. We took a great trip to Assisi from there. There is a great breakfast restaurant on the floor below the lobby. The meal was included in our room charge. After a week sleeping on a European bed, my back-ache was really bad. The outdoor patio was nice except the foliage surrounding the patio. It essentially blocked any views of the beautiful city. The hotel is steps away from the bottom of the old city wall. It's a fascinating trip up to the upper city center. With the assistance of the concierge, we rented scooters through Autogratis. Jean Paul Sia was immensely helpful. We took several great city tours. Just be careful of some extremely steep cobblestone streets. There is a nice large paddock outside perfect for motorcycle and scooter parking. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

As someone has already noted in another review, there is no hotel better located for wanderings through the central city. Additionally, you are a hop, skip, and jump from the Roca Paolina and the 4 escalators inside which make the uphill climb to the central city all but perfect for everyone except those confined to a wheelchair. The room appointments were well thought out and no convenience was forgotten. I'd suggest a room with a balcony which doesn't add much to the cost but gjves a room with a view of the entire panorama of the city. Another bonus is that the hotel is located next to the regional bus station if you want to enjoy day trips to places such as Assisi. We would definitely stay there again and we love Perujia.

Room Tip: Ask for a balcony so you can do your hand wash and leave it to dry outside.

Three of us spent 13 nights at the beginning of September, sharing a triple room on the first floor. We had a very comfortable, very enjoyable stay. The room and the bathroom were clean and pleasant and had everything we required. The breakfast was not particularly interesting but there was a good choice although we would have liked a bigger selection of fresh fruit. Very convenient location, you can be up in the historical centre in 10 minutes via the escalators but, as somebody else has already pointed out, the best asset of the hotel is the staff, particularly Umberto and Andrea at reception who went out of their way to offer assistance, advice and friendly banter.
The only very minor complaint would be the cost of the room service.

We would strongly recommend this hotel for: value for money, helpfulness of the personnel, location and overall facilities.

This hotel is modern, beautiful, well located and their staff will do everything they can to please you.
In our case, Andrea was an extraordinary and efficient person,. He check us in, took us outside to show where to park, explained the map and things to do in a very clear manner, and even served us a drink in the bar at evening. Amazing!
You just walk 50 mts. and electric stairs will take you to the old city.

A group of 23 persons from Norway spend 3 nights in this nice and friendly hotel. Good conference fasilities. Friendly service from the manager before coming and during the stay. Clean rooms. Nice location and short distance to the center of Perugia and all the attractions.
First time for us in the Umbria region, but for sure not the last.
