A wet rainy day in Perugia and we spotted a little side street with a bar and a view. As it turned out the bar was connected to a restaurant and whilst no view, was contemporary, cosy and the waiters really welcoming. Definitely worth a visit - we had fantastic starters (very generous portions) and fantastic pasta/pizza and ended the meal in the bar with desert and coffee and a final glass of wine, overlooking Perugia. They accommodated our request to finish the meal with the view and nothing was too much trouble. There is a cover charge of £2 each, but really worth it - expect quality and good bread with this charge. There is no shortage of places to eat in this wonderful city, but our choice of Pizzeria Ferrari stood out for us on this particular day.
