“Good, local pizzeria.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 17, 2013

Crowded with locals, this place will serve you up a nice neapolitan pizza worth its salt, and your wallet will not be stretched. It's fun to watch the boy from Naples stretch out the dough, put on the toppings, while another fellow shovels it into the wood-fired oven; it's ready in minutes and they really have it down. There were a variety of toppings - all looked good. We had the pizza "emergency," which had no tomato sauce, but lovely sheep's ricotta, eggplant, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella. Putting a bit of spicy olive oil on the pizza gave it plenty of extra flavor. We also enjoyed their pannacotta with caramel sauce. You won't go wrong here, but do know that its a real pizzeria, not a restaurant with salads or other entrees.

“Pizza Perfection!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 30, 2013

Went to this pizza place in October 2011 after seeing reccomendations on trip advisor but never got round to writing a review. Pizza was absolutely spot on. Amazing value for money. Being a huge Italian food lover, I was very excited about experiencing proper traditional Italian pizza and this place exceeded expectations!

Wine was pleasant and ridiculously cheap. Relaxed and cosy atmosphere with friendly staff, who took pity on us when it was pouring of rain and gave us a sit in table even though they were just closing!

Quite often reminisce about the pizza here, would love to return one day. If anyone could shed some light on the 'emergency pizza' on the menu though please do! :)

“If you want pizza in Perugia come here!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 17, 2013

Our guide book suggested this was a great place for a lunch-time pizza and we just got the last table and were glad we found it. We had to accept seats near the oven but with the quick-fire pizza preparation and service it was almost like theatre. Suffice to say the pizza was great and really good value but I would have loved a salad with it. Enjoy!

“When all you want is a decent pizza...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 20, 2012

If all you want is a quick, decent, cheap pizza and beer, this is your place. Seems to be very popular with students though, so fills up very quickly.
