Having read other great review about this restaurant, two friends and I decided to try it . . and were so glad that we did! The atmosphere is warm, welcoming and friendly, and the building itself is architecturally fascinating. From the moment we stepped inside, we were treated royally. A welcome glass of Proseco was brought to each of us as we perused the menu. Soon afterwards, a lovely crudite platter arrived, all compliments of the house. I started with the spinach salad - which was simply divine: fresh spinach, lots of perfectly cooked bacon, and wonderful cheese. I then had the grilled salmon with slivered vegetables -- both were cooked to perfection and seasoned with finesse. We opted for a local Montefalco Rosso wine - from 2009 - and it was heavenly....and extraordinarily reasonable if not downright inexpensive. Service was attentive but not smothering. I would return here in a heartbeat, and recommend it unreservedly.
