This is the best way to get from the central station ( Fonteveggi turn left out of station , 50 yards) to the town centre cars about every 30 seconds for 1.50 euro, a taxi is at least 12 euro. The downside is the hours in use are poor from about 07:00 to 21:30 hrs except during the jazz festival and the annual maintenance is the first two weeks of August when I suspect most tourists come.

Everyone is always saying how badly connected Italy is but this made travelling round the hilly city of Perugia so easy. I reckon it is environmentally friendly is well. Good job!

We liked very much to have a trip in a very modern and well designed vehicle, without driver. The stations are designed by the great architecte Jean Nouvel, author of the Agbar Tower from Barcelone, and Ínstitut du Monde Arabe de Paris etc.

This was a great way to get up to Perugia. It was a fun off and on mode of transport. Inexpensive, quiet and efficient. Truthfully, we took it around an extra time just because it was nice to get a birds eye view of the area

We took the minimetro just for the experience. It is inexpensive, interesting, and just a neat ride.
