My sister and I stayed at Fabrizio and Cristina's place for 4 days and we had an amazing experience in a peaceful and calm atmosphere, surrounded by an enchanting wilderness. Gastone, their dog, is a perfect master of the house!
The rooms are cozy and warm, with antique but comfortable furniture.
Cristina is a fantastic cook and provide amazing breakfast with organic products: jams, homemade butter, cakes, fruits,....Tempting!
Fabrizio is really taking good care of the guests. The premises are impeccably kept, including the beautiful garden!
We strongly recommend this place if you like spending sometime into the nature, away form the hectic daily life, tasting amazing food and sharing true human contact.
Federica B.

Room Tip: All the rooms are double, with double beds or two beds. Perfect for couples or friends.

The sign on the front door said it all...Beware!
I asked Fabrizio where there was a laundromat. "No problem, we do laundry for you, 5 Euro". As we sat in a couple of chairs admiring the view a few hours later up walks his wife and hands a basket of wet clothes to my girlfriend to hang up! Upon leaving I was handed a bill for 20 Euro, not to worry it was the gift that kept on giving, they didn't rinse out the soap, so I broke out in a rash. Room had a 10" t.v. that had some contraption that was supposed to receive signal, maybe aliens. Good place for lovers or newlyweds though, the sag in the middle of the bed keeps you close.
But what really takes the cake was when we asked about any another agriturismos in the area, he said he would make a call and told us to go look at a place, we did and the place seemed abandoned or maybe not in season just yet, (pool full of dirt & debris) so we left after waiting an hour. The next morning during breakfast we told him we would be moving on after looking at his recommendation, not sure what happened next other than him screaming, yelling and storming off to grab his phone to call the other place, I assume. All of this during breakfast, in front of other guests.

BEWARE! Yes, in front of our gate is written BEWARE...because we have two big dogs and you must ring the bell when you arrive. Question of security and ….manner! The dogs are friendly and happy to meet you. In our website is very clear that we love dogs and that people coming here must love them too. Otherwise is better not to come at all. We allow people coming here with their own pets in the room and live freely in the garden, doing so a battle against the bad attitude of someone to maroon the animals around when taking holidays.
This was the only part of the rewue that merited to be answered to.
Luckily and assuredly, only a very small portion of US people has the attitude you showed off: most of them are wonderful guests!
Concerning the other various chidings reported in your and your girlfriend rewue, we can only say to our readers and future guests, please go ahead and read what the 95% of our customers s think of us and of our homestead and then decide if it is worth to come to Cinciallegre.

Didn't feel like a guest in this house, more like an intruder. I tried to use my laptop in the dining area (the only common indoor space) and was told that I couldn't be in there and needed to stay outside. The view is beautiful. But don't try opening the blinds so you can see it - that is not allowed. The owner has a split personality - friendly one minute and losing his temper the next. Think you can't get a bad class of wine in Italy? Think again. The food was poor. The room smelled of stale, mold air. And 2 90 pound slobbering snowzers had to be maneuvered around at every turn. We were in Europe for 5 weeks and this was the worst experience of our stay. There are many really wonderful agriturismos in Italy - don't waist your money here.

One of the best thing about La Cinciallegre is that you feel like you've left everything behind. Far from the highway, you approach via 10km on a small country road, turned dirt road, until you arrive on a beautiful renovated farm house on top of a hill. The location is absolutely beautiful.

Fabrizio took extraordinary care of us, and made us feel absolutely at home for our entire stay. The rooms are farm house rustic (don't expect a wide screen LED TV) but they're very comfortable and fit well with the entire environment.

The one thing that made our trip was having a delicious dinner cooked by Farizio's wife, Christina. If you're going to be in the area, this is a great place to stay, and I'm sure we'll be back for a longer stay soon.

High in the hills, above Gubbio, Fabrizio and his wife made us extremely welcome right from the start. Quite rightly they are proud of what the have developed . The food was very traditional and well prepared. Ask Fabrizio to pour you one of his many country liqueurs for a special treat. The house is beautifully rustic with splendid gardens in which to roam, even BBQ if you wish Don't go if you want a hotel that is the same as every other safely on a tarmac road . Treat yourselves and drive into the hills along a dusty but smooth track and live the style that the locals live. A few miles drive allows you to visit Gubbio with a lot of local knowledge from Fabrizio. Fabulous expereriance.

Room Tip: All rooms are good but one or two are seperate from the main house and sit perched on the hillside with little balconies
