This hotel is in a great location and we were made to feel welcome straight away. We arrived at 11am and checkin is not until 2pm but the room was ready so we could check straight in. The room was on the ground floor very modern and chic but didn't feel particularly special and there was no bath. The car park is 25 Euros a day which is expensive but its right next to the hotel and keeps the car nice and cool. My husband had a wonderful massage and the spa was very relaxing and hardly anyone there. Breakfast was really great eggs cooked to order and for lunch the club sandwich was delicious. Our only disappointment was the evening meal, very overpriced and the pasta was simply not cooked enough, I did tell and show the waitress but nothing was done, she just said sorry but the meal was still charged full price, Great service great location and great food just not at dinner.

From the moment we arrived at the Nun we were welcomed by the staff and they parked our car and check in was very fast and professional.Nothing was a problem and we ate at the Restaurant
which had great food and service. The highlight though was the Spa i had a hot stone massage which was great and my wife had a pedicure which she really enjoyed. This was complemented by the different thermal rooms which was really a treat and as good as any where else i have stayed if not better.
If i am ever in Assisi again i will definitely stay here again.

the city of Assisi is a gem.
every detail of the hotel is beautifully designed.
the spa , in an ancient stone combined with modern glass & sophisticated pools & other amenities is something else.
all the above was delivered by the most attentive and efficient staff we ever met .
we stayed for 2 nights during a very hot July , but in Assisi , due to it's elevation , it was tolerable.

Nun is a sleek, modern restaurant nestled in an ancient town - however, the two go together very well. We came to the restaurant after strolling through the city during the morning.

We had wonderful food starting with a carpaccio di chianina and chicken ravioli. Following the initial courses we had scallops with crisped eggplant slices that were like potato chips - very unusual and tasty - hadn't seen eggplant prepared like this. We also had spaghetti with black truffles. Very nice.

For desert we had caffe semi freddo with apricot ice cream. YUM!

The service was very attentive and helpful. Toward the end of the meal, chef Nichlas came out and talked about the restaurant and his cooking style. This was a lovely meal, great setting, and very enjoyable afternoon. Recommend highly.

We stayed here for two nights in suite number 18. The staff are extremely helpful and professional. The room we stayed in was on two levels, the lounge downstairs and the bedroom upstairs. Beautifully furnished, very comfotable brd, good air conditioning and extremely up to date facilities and wifi very user friendly too. The location of the hotel also suits for sightseeing too. It's at the top of Assisi although only 10 minutes walk UP to Rocca Maggiore which is a must by the way. Its not in the tourist area so its very quiet but It only takes about 20 minutes ( all downhill ) to the Basilica of San Francesco obviously a bit longer coming back up. All the must sees are en route. We didn't try the in house restaurant as the menu was a bit high brow for my basic tastes but breakfast was good. The hotel is really charming, as you will have realized its a converted nunnery and they have done really well to keep as much original as possible. We had a look at the Spa which looked great and although we didn't try any treatments it looked to be top class. I highly recommend that you stay here.
