My husband and I spent 2 weeks traveling through Italy on the train. We decided on this trip we would not book hotels but try apartments and B&Bs. We found this lovely one bedroom apartment in Siena. It was easy to get to by taking the bus from the train station. Lisa was very easy to communicate with to set up our stay. She answered emails almost immediately! Lisa gave us a nice little package of local bakery cookies that went wonderfully with the coffee that we made each morning with the coffee that Lisa supplied. We truly enjoyed eating breakfast each morning in the cute little kitchen. And, we were so appreciative of the washer so we could do our laundry and hang it outside to dry. The shower water pressure was very strong. The bed was comfortable. The location was quiet. We enjoyed walking "home" at night because the apartment was well located in the town and we love to walk. It felt so safe. The only caveat is you have to be capable of climbing up and down stairs---but we found that to be true at many places we stayed in Tuscany's hill towns. If we go to Tuscany again, we will surely stay at this lovely little "home away from home."
