My husband and I were traveling with another couple throughout Tuscany. We loved the location of our two bedroom apartment on Piazza del Campo in Siena. The apartment although oddly configured was comfortable for two couples. Beware of several things, however. First, you have to specifically arrange for use of the kitchen in the apartment. Also, Piazza del Campo is a noisy, lively place at night so it is difficult to sleep with the windows open. The B and B management, although several blocks away, tried hard to accommodate us but could never get wifi to work.

We cannot speak highly enough of the wonderful people who run this centrally located B & B in old Siena. Rita, Gina and Sarah were amazing hosts who went out of their way to ensure a most enjoyable stay when we were here early in September while my husband was attending a conference. They were friendly and welcoming, helped organise restaurant reservations and taxi bookings and gave us advice on places to visit outside the old town. We were impressed with the interior design of our rooms and the wonderful attention to detail which made our stay most memorable in this historic location. A bonus of this B & B is that they include their own wine shop in reception - the Brunello was the best we have ever tasted! Can't rave enough about the true Tuscan hospitality we received. Thank you!

This is a must stay location if you are ever lucky enough to visit beautiful Siena! We received a very warm welcome and perfect service throughout our stay - our room was superb and even had a balcony. If boutique luxury and a very friendly atmosphere is what you want, then Stay here if you can - it is such an experience!

Rita and her team were the best. They provided great recommendations for dinner, helped us find a wine tour group for Tuscany, and also told us about local events to attend while we were there.

The hotel was clean, breakfast was great, the decor was very cute! But hats of to the staff. One of my favorite B&Bs!

Room Tip: The two bedroom suite had an amazing view and extra little sitting area for everyone to hangout! Plus, the pope used to live there!

We chose Il Battistero Siena to be within the walls of the city this visit. I can't say enough positive things about the owner and staff. Rita was wonderfully helpful and a ray of sunshine each time we met. I think I miss read the description because I did not realize there would be so many stairs. Since breakfast was not included and the charge more than I expected especially Since there was an additional 8 euros for meat and cheese, we ate a few blocks away. Our room was large and the bathroom very contemporary, very lovely.

Room Tip: Remember these rooms are walk ups, breakfast for a fee which we though was high compared to other places in Italy that we have stayed.
