“Tuscan countryside with easy access to Siena”

First, these apartments also appear as Fullino Nero and Antica Fonte. It apears to be part of a former farmhouse, with new additions. A tractor in the barn and a working olive farm is immediately adjacent and surrounding the rooms. We absolutely enjoyed and valued the property, proprietor, and the amenities. Giuseppe kindly met us at the train station (8 pm !) and delivered us to our room. We were provided coffee and milk for the morning, and a room that was nicely furnished; earlier reviews noted that breakfast was provided but this was not the case for us. The bus stop into Siena is a 10 min walk, with pickup every hour, which we used several times ($2.00/person). We also used a taxi, for about $20. The washer and drier was made accessible to us, as were the two bikes of the property. This gave us the opportunity to bike to Monteriggioni, around to the Fattoria Lornano Vineyard for a short tasting, and back to the room. We made a day of that trip and needed it to bike the hills in the high heat of late July. It was nice, but I recommend it for the reasonably fit!
Giuseppe was a great host, the location is lovely and especially romantic at night on the patio with a bottle of wine gazing at the stars, and we would certainly recommend it. It's great if you wish to enjoy Siena but want to take in the restful mornings and evenings of the Tuscan countryside. Walk the olive orchard as we did!
