This is one of those rare places that when you walk in, you get the feeling that the owner, Angelo, opened the restaurant just so you would walk in the door. To say it is just a sandwich shop is to say so little. If he has time he will have you taste some the porchetta he baked or pour you a small taste of wine. And besides, the sandwiches are fantastic, and the value extraordinary given the location on the main square, Plaza il Campo. You would not have actually visited Siena if you did not stop by here for a sandwich.
