We had a lovely room with a beautiful view out of the window at the back of this old building. The rooms have beautiful decorated high ceilings. We were made very welcome and given a secure space to park the motorbike, which was fantastic. The only complaint, which is quite minor was that the bathroom was very dark. But I would defiantly recommend this as a perfect place to stay in Siena

A very old and atmospheric building. We chose the room with the view which was more expensive but I'm so glad we did because the view across the Tuscan countryside was so beautiful. The room itself was spacious with painted ceilings.Camilla spoke excellent English and was very welcoming and couldn't be more helpful.Loved the kettle and tea and coffee making facilities in the room- so unusual in Europe. You're right in the heart of medieval Siena. What more could you want?

We just spend three wonderful night at Palazzo Bruchi and I highly recommend it! The location is great and it felt as if we were staying in a medivial palace with views of the tuscan hillside. The food was very good--- we had to leave early and Senora Camilla fixed us a wonderful food basket for the next morning! Everything was perfect--and very romantic. We arrived in Siena in the evening --just as the hoards of "day trippers" were leaving. The evening in Siena is magical--don 't just spend a day or you miss "Siena"!
We will be returning...Thank you Senora Camilla!

Room Tip: Get the Superior room with a view--it completes the experience!

We had prebooked our standard double room accommodation for 4 nights over the internet and found Camilla very prompt in answering our enquiries. There is a discount for cash.

After arriving at the train station, we used a taxi to get to the B and B.

Our room was out the back, up 15 or so external stairs. There seems to be 3 rooms in this area. There is a small kitchenette for use.Our room and ensuite was fairly basic but satisfactory, with windows overlooking the courtyard, garden and church dome in the background.  It is very quiet,  clean and in a great location, about 5 minutes from Piazza del Campo.  Wi-fi access was excellent and free.
Since we were here  2 of the 4 nights not in high season, basic breakfast items were left in the kitchenette for our use. The other 2 times were in the pretty breakfast room, with a very good breakfast being provided.  The cost difference between low and high season reflected this.

Camilla had given us a couple of very good brochures for Urban Trecking, walking trails which we used to explore the less well known areas of Siena.  This was excellent.

We really did not need anything else and thought Palazzo Bruchi good value.

Definitely recommend this experience in medieval Siena! We truly enjoyed Camilla's hospitality and the charm of this palace turned B&B. Frescoed ceilings, elegant breakfast room, quiet and comfortable rooms, easy to walk to everything... can't wait to return!

Room Tip: Our room overlooked the countryside and ancient wall of the city - breathtaking!

This hotel was once the palazzo of Senator Alfredo Bruchi and is now a very nice bed and breakfast in the heart of Siena. If you want to stay in a great little palace in an ancient city then this is the right place.
The owner was very helpful from the day that we contacted her by email from the states, she made great suggestions on how we could reach Siena from Florence (by bus) and how to get to her palazzo.
When we arrived we were greeted like old friends and shown to our very nice room on the second floor.
Our room was nice and big with two comfortable antique beds, plenty of storage space, a nice bathroom and tall windows that gave us amazing views to the beautiful city walls and the Tuscan countryside beyond.
We had a little hot plate and a coffee maker in the room and some simple snacks for breakfast which was just fine. We were the first guest of the season so they were just opening up the hotel and getting it ready for the season.
When we departed, the owner was very helpful in allowing us to print our bus tickets in her office.
This is a great place to stay in Siena.

Room Tip: Ask for the bigger room if your budget allows, it is worth the upgrade.

Quiet and comfortable with modern amenities made this a great place for us while visiting the remarkably well preserved city of Siena. The guest rooms are off the courtyard inside the palazzo, so the noise of the street and businesses in the area are nonexistent. Within easy walking distance of the entire city (very limited automobile use in Siena). Camilla was very helpful and easy to work with setting up our reservation via e-mail. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly to family and friends.

Room Tip: Superior rooms available with more space and amenities, but our standard rooms were just fine. Wirel...
