Good little location in Siena. Initially I thought that because Siena was hilly that we would have to go uphill to get to Piazza del Campo. In the end, this hotel is well located to drop off your things after arriving by bus or other and it's super easy to walk around anywhere in Siena afterwards. We were even greeted with a marching band promoting a certain community in the upcoming Palio as they marched just outside our window shortly after our arrival (this happens Sundays before Palio begins). Amazing little town. The staff were nice and kept our baggages with no problem. Breakfast was basic but good.

My family and I stayed at this hotel some months ago and we had a good stay. Our room was not very big and furnitures were not pieces of art, but who cares about that when you are spending just a night to visit the beautiful city and this hotel is in the centre of Siena?
It was very cheap, and when you are travelling with other three people this can be an important aspect to consider.
The breakfast was good and included in the price, the only negative aspect about the stay was that we had to park the car very far from the hotel since cars are not allowed into Siena centre (and maybe this is why this city is so beautiful) but afterall it is not fault of the Hotel.
Just an advice to those who travel to Siena: when you pay for your stay, you'll have to pay a tourist tax. If I'm not wrong, it is 2,50 euros per person every night, so don't forget about this when planning the stay!
To sum up, if you are highly demanding and want to stay in a luxury hotel this is not the right place for you, but I honestly would recommend this hotel to those who care about being in the centre of Siena, which is beautiful and want a cheap hotel.

We had roon on the first floor and all the sounds from the hallway came in to the room, so it was really noisy.

Breakfast was really bad for someone who likes to eat salty food on breakfast...

We where in Italy for 6 days and stayed in 4 different hotel, this was the worst of them in very way. (This was not the cheapest hotel that we stayed in.) I think it is not so bad, if you are staying in the upper floors.

Location of this hotel was really good, in the middle of the historic cente of Siena.

Room Tip: Don't stay in 1st floor.

Spent 4 nights there and was happy with the stay. It's nothing fancy, just a decent place right in the middle of town. It's right on the main shopping Street, Via di Città, and just a short walk to the Piazza del Campo, which is, in my opinion, the most magical piazza in Tuscany. The staff is friendly, the breakfast is so-so, the rooms are adequate. Thanks to the location, it's a good deal.

Hotel is very central : 7' walk from Piazza del Campo. You can park just in front of the albergo to leave your luggage and then leave the ZTL (limited traffic area) to find a free parking place behind the castle
Our room (for 4 people : 1 kingsize beds + 2 beds of good quality) was quite big, comfortable and clean. However, it was VERY noisy, giving on Via Montanini where there's a lot of.....pedestrian traffic : groups of people singing/yelling till 2am then from 7am deliveries/cleaning/works... Ear taps or ask for a room on the other side
Breakfast is quite basic, in a very small room without window. Better skip it and go and take a cafe+pastry in the street
We paid 128€ for this room which was overall a bit too much

Room Tip: ear taps otherwise NOT on Montanini Street

Having read reviews about the noise in this hotel, I was not looking forward to my four-night stay. The room was narrow and very basic, although I had expected this, and the bed was a bit too soft for my liking but bearable. Only one plug was a problem for charging phones and tablets, but we managed. The walls looked like they could do with a coat of paint, and the bathroom was not the cleanest I've ever seen, but again we managed. Breakfast was basic, with no healthy alternatives, not even a piece of fruit, but again we managed. In fact the phrase "we managed" just about sums up the hotel. If you have to travel on a budget, you can "manage" this place. It certainly lacks any refinement and certainly isn't a place you want to hang around if you are not going out for the day. However, if you only need a place to crash after a full day of sightseeing, then it does the job. As for the noise, I was lucky because I stayed during a quiet week. However, the long empty corridors magnify any slight sound, so all it would take is one or two inconsiderate guests and your stay could be ruined. Light sleepers should stay away! On a more positive note, all the staff on reception were very helpful and friendly. Would I stay here again? Only if I had no other choice (or budget!)

This place offers no fuzz, but it is clean and functional for half the price you pay elsewhere this close to the campo. Everything is as it is supposed to. Breakfast is nothing special but does the job OK too. Recommended.
