Arriving in Siena by bus, we were dropped off a very short walk from Hotel Italia. We walked into the hotel and were at once welcomed by the very friendly and attentive reception. The lobby is beautifully decorated and clean - all white and fresh. The room was very nice, spacious and nice bathroom too. The shower was very good, big bathroom and nice windows. The breakfast was included in our rate and was pretty complete. Great coffee machines. Wifi wasn't that great throughout the hotel, and we had to pay for it as we hadn't booked directly. We loved the location, as it was on a main street but not directly in the heart of the old city with all the crowds (20 minute walk from duomo) Overall, would DEFINITELY recommend Hotel Italia to anyone looking for a beautiful, affordable boutique hotel in quaint Siena.
