“Great Pici al Aglio!”

Nice place just across San Domenico church, but it's No tourist trap. Good service and reasonable prices, menu option is a great value.

“Poor food, nice location, decent service”
Reviewed August 27, 2014 via mobile

Pizza was greasy, 4 cheeses was full of liquid cream. Pasta was ok. Generally not very tasty food. A coke 4e watery from tap not enjoyable. The waiter did his best and the location outside was pleasant. Food prices reasonable. It felt like the typical mediocre tourist thing

“A hook for tourists”
Reviewed August 17, 2014 via mobile

The restaurant is overpriced given the quality of the food. I am Italian, i know how Italian kitchen prepared food should taste like. And the food I ate was not. The salad was clearly taken from a ready made bag. The gnocchi were industrial, and the sauce probably taken from a can. Same applies to the mushroom crostone (a local bruschetta) in which the mushrooms were clearly taken from a tin. The only good food I had was the tuscany cheese selection, most likely as it does not need to be cooked. I would like to point out that my revue is consistent with other ones i found on trip advisor. Needless to stress, the "restaurant" is overly priced: 25 euros per person for an entry and a main to eat ready made food is clearly too much.

“Decent food, nice environment”
Reviewed June 21, 2014

we had dinner at this place and sat outside to watch World cup match on the screen. Overall food was ok and service was also satisfactory. Only issue was the salad: we asked for green salad and got a so not fresh salad. We were not sure how to react to a salad with that state but preferred to enjoy the game and dinner and not complain. Overall I mark is as an average restaurant.

“Yes, it does rate up there!”
Reviewed June 12, 2014

I tripped over this place enroute to buy an opera concert ticket tonight and had a delightful meal, sitting outside. I have just come from three nights in Venice and had some good, but not great, meals there. Tonight I was served by the owner, Giuseppe, and we had some lively conversation. Half bottle of red wine, gnochhi with pesto, and steak with peppercors, finished off with a creamy dessert with peanuts and then an expresso left a good taste in my mouth. True, he does bring you a little after dinner drink and then charges you for it, but this seems to a European way of doing things. I was not about to quibble after such a delicious meal. Also, instead of fries with the steak, I had spinach, which was worth showing up for that vegetable. This traveler is glad to have arrived in Italy - it took 63 years!
