A breathtakingly beautiful monument to faith, to art and to Siena itself. From the multicolored buff and white facade to the striped pillars inside, the floors made up of narrative mosaics and elaborate pulpit, the bibliotheca Piccolomini, it is hard to say where to begin. i didn't pay 20 Eueos to climb to the roof and interior of the cupola, but friends who did say it is breathtaking.
