We visited this hotel last week. It's in a fabulous location in Siena and the staff were so helpful and informative about the city and funny too. There's a lovely little kitchen for guests and a beautiful garden. Would love to return sometime. Fabulous!!

This venue was really excellent. It's in a great location, it's clean, the family room for 4 was spacious enough with all of our luggage. It was good value too.
The highlight is the staff, they are super! Their unprompted effort to inform us of the places to see, to eat and what to experience was really appreciated. Their advice on how to handle the tricky streets (arrival by car) and parking made life easy. Their restaurant recommendations were spot on. Their assistance with our luggage was unexpected and greatly appreciated on a hot day.
All in all a really great place to base yourself when visiting the beautiful city of Siena.

We found this hotel to be warm, inviting, clean and hospitable. We were met by Fredrico, who helped us with our bags and was extremely warm and friendly. Although we stayed only one night, we would certainly stay here again. It's not a "big lobby, concierge-driven, 5 star feel...but more the feeling of staring with family in their wonderful home. We also paid a very reasonable rate on booking.com.
PS: it shares the building with Hotel Duomo, which is the sign you see when pulling up.
PSS: use the parking services as there is virtually no parking to be found easily in Sienna!

We stayed in this hotel for two nights in May 2016. We arrived at the train station and had to take a taxi to the hotel since private automobiles are restricted in Siena. The streets are narrow and the cars seem to pleasantly coexist with pedestrians. The room we were assigned was across the street from the main building. 'Room' is not an accurate description. It was more like a small apartment with a bedroom, living room kitchen and bathroom. We even had a private courtyard. Our reservation included breakfast at one of the local restaurants which was about 100 yards down the street.

The hotel included a good Wi-Fi system which allowed us to download movies since the TV only had Italian language stations.

We were very close to numerous restaurants and tourist attractions and would definitely stay at the property again when in Siena.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the building across the street from the main building

Arrived from Florence by train for a three night stay. Theand walk from the station took about 40 minutes initially using the escalators in the shopping centre opposite the station and then mainly the pedestrianised, narrow city centre streets. The reception office and accommodation are on part of the first floor of what must have been a large house (or palace as they are known as in Tuscany). The room was spacious with a kettle and safe, and also a large modern bathroom. Breakfast vouchers were given for a local bar/pasticceria/ cafe where there was a good choice of rolls and occasionally fruit as well as coffee.
The accommodation is close to the main sites of Siena including the Campo and we particularly enjoyed wandering along the narrow ( largely traffic free) streets in a less crowded and hectic city than Florence. We also used the local buses to visit San Gimignano which is stunning, and then stopped off at Monterrigoni for a brief visit on the way back.
There were some excellent restaurants nearby including Osteria Nonna Gina (recommended by reception) and Antica Trattoria Stall (immediately opposite). Check the menus and then book as they both turned people away!
PS we took a taxi back to the station for around 12 euros.
