The B&B shares an entrance with Hotel Duomo, which is in an excellent location in Siena. There are many shops, restaurants, etc, close by.
We booked a room for our family of four. We had a very large room with comfortable beds but the room in general could use some updating. The furniture, bedding and walls are in need of some care.
The room was located in a narrow hallway, which became quite noisy during the early hours. Nothing however, compared to the street noise - the road in front of the hotel was under repair, and at 7 AM power tools and tractors were in full power. We cannot fault the hotel for this, but it was very uncomfortable.
While this is a B&B without breakfast, it supplies a communal kitchen and large fridge, which we did not use, but seemed helpful for some guests.
During our entire stay we were not able to see anyone at the front desk, perhaps we were just unlucky. Only when we checked out we had contact with someone.
Also, we were not able to locate the garden that is pictured on their site, we assume it was at a close location (???). But we just didn't really like that during our stay our room didn't get clean, nor our beds were made. We certainly expected more service from them.More
