The staff and owners of the agriturismo were extremely gracious and helpful, and the breakfasts were quite good and varied daily, with a variety of home-made pastries and even delicious home-cured salmon. Because of the agriturismo's popularity, we ended up having to change rooms twice, in order to stay 4 nights. We loved the Camera Grande and Camera Azzure -- beautiful, quiet, and comfortable, with high quality furnishings, perfect beds, and great bathrooms. We didn't enjoy the suite, which was the only room available for one of the nights. The unpleasant smell of fermenting wine filled the suite's main room from below, and despite the spaciousness (living-dining-kitchenette (without utensils) area plus bedroom and bathroom) and nice furniture, the room didn't have the light and charm of the others. Dinner was offered only one of the nights after we arrived, which we weren't able to attend, but we heard rave reviews from the guests who did. The wifi didn't work in any of the rooms in which we stayed, so we had to sit outside on the porch for that. Siena was a great base, from which we easily explored San Gimignano, Volterra, several routes through Chianti, Pienza, Montepulciano, Monterrigioni, etc.
