My husband and I stayed three nights at Agriturismo Cesani out of two weeks spent in Tuscany for our twenty-fifth wedding anniversary, and it was wonderful! Latisia (not sure of her spelling, my apologies) greeted us and was our host for the duration. We stayed in the "Blue Room" of the farthest building from the reception building. When Latisia pulled back the drapes and threw open the shutters, my husband and I both gasped at the view - vineyards below and San Gimignano in the distance. It was breath taking. The room was simple - traditional agriturismo style with tile flooring, beamed ceilings and wrought iron bed with a wardrobe and private bath. Even without the view, at 90 euros a night it was a deal; but with the view, the service and FREE breakfast it was a steal of a deal!! We highly recommend this site and hope to return! Thank you Latisia for treating us so warmly and working so very hard at ALL you do!!

Room Tip: Go for a second floor room, not the spacious patio on the bottom - you can't see anything from d...

Really enjoyed my stay here. Clean and comfortable, Accommodating and friendly staff. The family are always around if you need them and Elena is super helpful. Just far enough away from San Gimignano to allow you to feel you're in the country. Plenty of opportunity to explore the farm, chat to the family and workers and the breakfast is good to.

Room Tip: Ask about a room with a farm view or better still book a couple of nights and the appartment might b...

Only good thing about this place was the breakfast! Room and no view was a disappointment! Hard bed, small shower. Stayed in much better hotels for the same price. Cannot recommend

We love our 3 day stay here, the rooms were large and clean, the bed very comfortable. The Buffett breakfast was very good, especially with the home made cheeses, salami’s, jams and honey. The value for your dollar was incredible, I love being able to walk the road to the restaurant down the street and pick cherry’s off some of the trees.

I would highly recommend this Agrriturismo to all who are looking to stay in this area.

What we looked for - a quiet place in Tuscany within a small village a bit of nowhere track and within a working farm of olive and vineyards
What we got was - all the above plus a friendly service, a room with a view and private terrace, a friendly local cat, a helpful contact from the hotel (we booked via booking, com but got personally emailed) to tell us about the problems they have been having with road work, an entertaining hour getting more pissed with their locally grown and produced wine and a fabulous breakfast and regretting we didn't stay more than the one night.

Wi-fi only works at the reception area but why waste time wi-fiing when you should be looking around and enjoy the rest of it.

Room Tip: we had a room with a view and a private terrace

We were very excited to spend an evening in the countryside of Tuscany! After spending the day exploring san gimignano, we were very disappointed upon our arrival to this bed and breakfast. First of all, there was road work and so though it is only about 6 kilometers from San G. we had to add an extra 25-30 minutes to the distance since we had to take a very long detour. The owners were not very welcoming, though a young lady who spoke English very well made up for the poor welcome. Unfortunately there was a miscommunication and the room we reserved was no longer available. We decided to take another room anyways, but the quality of the room and services were not at all worth the money we spent. The young lady did offer a wine tasting, but she was too busy trying to help everyone so she could not focus on us (the owners did not help her at all). This B&B would not have been so offensive if it was more moderately priced, but we definitely did not feel that we got our money's worth.

We were staying at another agritourismo (see my reviews), but after meeting Maria-Louisa at the Tuscan Wine School in Siena (see my reviews) we decided to also visit the winery and were treated to an excellent series of wine tastings of the Cesani family wines. Phone ahead of your visit, and arrange a time. This makes for a very pleasant late afternoon addition to seeing San Gimignano.
