Our 6 night stay in the Cottage could not have been better!! Flavio was a terrific and helpful host. He truly went above and beyond in helping us with some of the details of our stay in Tuscany! He was always very prompt in answering messages with the booking and arranging for our arrival! The cottage itself is brand new and was perfect for 2 couples. It had great wifi, 2 seperate bedrooms and a great kitchen and sitting area! We also appreciated having a washing machine! The surrounding scenery was breath taking and we would love to visit again! It was our favorite place that we stayed in on our 3 week Italian vacation! If you are planning to visit this area stay at the Cottage view on San Gimignano

Just returned from a week in Canonica Cottage with my husband and friend. The cottage, set in an amazing location a couple of kms outside Certaldo, is beautiful, spacious and spotlessly clean, and well equipped (with the exception of an electric kettle!). Watching the sunset from the terrace is absolutely marvellous. Flavio and his family made us feel very welcome and were on hand to help us with any questions we had about the area.

We visited Pisa, Lucca, Florence (on the train), San Gimignano, Monteriggioni and other smaller villages in the area. We liked Certaldo Alto (the old town) which is reached by a funicular from the main town.

We would love to return in the future to this beautiful tranquil area of Tuscany and Canonica Cottage would be our first choice.

Very warm reception by Flavio and parents, and had prepared a small basket of food for us due to it being Easter Sunday and shops closing - very kind of them! Very tidy and comfortable two bedroom cottage with views of the Tuscan hills and across to the towers of San Gimignano. We were able to explore the local town of Certaldo, Siena, Chianti region and took a train into Florence for the day. Flavio was very helpful and we loved the place. Only suggestion would be a kettle to boil water in! Thanks so much.

This property was excellent. It truly made our vacation. We have stayed in other places for twice the money which were not even half as nice. The house was wonderful and a perfect size for my family. We have three small kids and they loved the house. The kitchen had everything that we needed and the owner even explained to me how to cook some things I had questions on and loaned me a pan out of her kitchen.

The house was extremely clean and feels brand new. The owners were very friendly and helped us by answering any questions we had about the area. The house is in a great area, an easy distance to so many cities. Parking was easy, with the given coordinates the house was easy to find and in a quiet location.

The house has two nice separate bedrooms, a living space, a kitchen, and a bathroom. Perfect for a vacation with kids or a group of people. The house also had a table outside to enjoy the lovely weather. We loved everything so much we stayed an extra day!
