The town of San Gimignano is full of tourists shops and restaurants. Besides the great food, one of the best things about the Taverna Paradiso is that it is an indoor restaurant separated from all of the hustle and bustle of the tourists outside. The restaurant is also air conditioned which is greatly appreciated on a hot summer day in Italy.
The food is very good and reasonably priced. The food arrived very quickly which was greatly appreciated by a hungry family with young children. The service was excellent.
I would recommend the Picci pasta with Cinghiale (wild boar) sauce, or the Ravioli Quattro Formaggi.
In summary, a nice quiet italian restaurant in a busy tourist town, good food, good service, and good value. We will return again on our next visit.
