Not the first museum in the area that has some nice stuff on diplay. But many have not more then an Italian explaination. Same in Volterra Etruscan museum. Why ??

Volterra is another nice city, it's from the same old San Gimignano period and, at that time probably Volterra was more interesting because close to the seaside; the museum is interesting to see because most of our villages like Volterra, San Gimingnano etc. are from Etruschi Period

Not the largest of museums, but that only adds to the charm of this wonderful collection of antiquities.

Located at almost the opposite end of town from the Duomo, this museum was three stories of pottery, cast metal, and stone funerary urns. Admission to the single museum was 8E per person (10E for a combo ticket that includes 2 other museums), or 20E for Family ticket to all three. The gift shop was a bit "old school" but offered the expected items. The restrooms were not well marked (first floor, first exhibit on the right), but were clean.
