“So cute! Small though - be patient!”
Reviewed October 1, 2013

This place is adorable. It is TINY. We actually sat beside a wall, my husband was facing it actually! We had reserved earlier and that was the table we got... we were told that the tables with the view were for reservations.... Their English wasn't perfect, so we let it slide. That was the only downside. The service is a bit slow. We realized it's because the kitchen can only handle so many orders at a time. Please remember this!!! The food is great! Very yummy (yes I just used the descriptive word yummy! LOL) and the portions are perfect. If I could have licked my plate - I would have. The cappuccinos were delicious. Their house wine is very good. When in wine country, you don't have to always order a big "house" wine ;) One small piece of advice, do not order rabbit in smaller towns. Remember they are not "farmed" rabbits, so you may get that skinny one from the fields, you've been warned. It was a perfect start to our honeymoon in San Gimignano.

“So fun & so Italian”
Reviewed September 24, 2013

Just outside the city's wall, this quirky little place has an incredible view over the Tuscan countryside.

It is a perfect snapshot of what we love about Italy. Sitting in front of the scenic window, enjoying a small pitcher of local wine served in juice glasses while munching on delicious pizza.

The staff was great, everything was great ... including the 11 euro bill ...!!!

“The BEST Tiramisu”
Reviewed August 26, 2013 via mobile

This very small restaurant is just outside the city walls, opposite the car park number 2. The service perfect, the pasta dishes are lovely but the tiramisu is the best we ever had and not only in Italy..

“Small but full of flavor.”

Its a very small restaurant but the food is amazing, fresh pasta, delicious wine. An amazing risotto "San Gimignano" different but tasteful. For the lunch get early because is always full even with the locals.

“Excellent Italian food”
Reviewed August 15, 2013

Spent two evenings in this restaurant in July 2013. Restaurant is small but well worth the visit. Food was superb with local meats and vegtables and fruits, which was served by a young man and women who were delightful. They were happy to explain menu in English. Local white wine was great.
Meals were not expensive. ( €15-€25)
Can be warm in evenings so sit near door or window.
